Yamunotri Temple
Dham is a main destination for Hindus as it boasts Yamunotri- the source of the holy Yamuna River. This holy river has a famous mythological story among Hindus that the Yamuna was the sister of Yamraj and at the occasion of Bhai Dooj, Brother Yamraj make a promise to Yamuna that whosoever will having a bath in the Yamuna River will not be taken to Yamlok and he would achieved salvation. The Gangotri Dham is situated at an altitude of 3200 Mtr in the centre of affecting surroundings with bank of river Bhagirathi. The main focus place of Gangotri Dham is Gomukh, which is the source of the Holy River Ganges. It is assume that river Ganga came to earth after King Bhagirath prayer for a long time. The rock on which King Bhagirath did his prayer is situated near to Ganga Temple in Gangotri. Here a special prayer of Ganga River is organized both inside the place as well bank of the river. A beautiful and attractive temple devoted to Goddess Ganga is located in this area. It is consider that the holy river Ganga is the source of clearness and sanctity. Kedarnath Temple
Shri Kedarnath Dham is also a famous religious place for all Hindus as it is one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Bhole Nath(Lord Shiva), the God of holocaust. Tungnath, Kedarnath, Madhmaheshwar, Kalpeshwar, and Rudranath sites are together known as Panch Kedar. Adi Shankaracharya reconstructs the temple. After the ruler of Satyuga named this temple as ‘Kedar’ Kedarnath temple. This place is open from April end till Kartic Poornima.
Badrinath Temple
‘Kedar’ Kedarnath Temple the importance of Shri Badrinath Dham can be believed from the fact that it is considered as the most famous holy place among the four other holy places. Located at an elevation of 3,133 meters from the ocean level and situated on the left bank of the Alaknanda River. The Dham is devoted to Lord Vishnu, the preserver and the guard of the Hindu Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. These temples are also known as Vishal Badri. This region has also witnessed Saint Adi Shankaracharya achieved freedom from the process of rebirth.
Best Time to Visit Char Dham, Uttarakhand:
One of the religious places for Hindus, Char Dhma Yarta for Hindus is assembles by pilgrims every year. Pilgrims should always keep in mind the best time to visit these destinations, before going to the trip. The perfect timea & Session to go for these places are during the months from May to October, but in the monsoon season don’t to go at this place. In the winters session all these place are blocked due to heavy snowfall. At the time of monsoon season, yatra stops due to landslides that may disrupt the trip.
